CROOKED CREEK TWODOGS RUN FOR THE
IRONBUTT ASSC.  SADDLESORE 1000
Well we finally did it. Chris Gardino, Tim Butler, Ty Williams, and myself, {all dogs} took on the challenge of the Iron Butt Saddlesore 1000.
Saturday, Oct. 19. We started in Sylacauga at 4:20 a.m. and hit I-20 to Atlanta; I-75 to Lake City; I-10 to Jacksonville; and on to Daytona for Biketoberfest. We had to limit Biketoberfest to talking to a couple of STRIPPERS; going to the Broken Spoke; having a beer; buying a tee-shirt; and hauling ass.

We did have lots of fun' lots of laughs; met nice people, and ate lots of junk food at the quick stops. It wasn't near as bad as we had expected. We returned to the starting position at 3:18 a.m. Sunday. We anticipated 20 hours but the construction down I-75 was unreal. We peddled many miles plus had to take some 2 lane detours. We're already talking about a possible C.to C.(thats coast to coast for the uninitiated) Everyone said it was well worth it. A big accomplishment. I'll try to get you some pictures.
